Shutdown Servicing of Existing Fans
Vortex Engineering was engaged by Oji Fibre to service three existing fans during a scheduled maintenance shutdown.
The fans were removed from site and delivered to Vortex’s workshop for a full service. This included inspection and servicing of the fan assemblies, with fan runners rebalanced or replaced as required.
The work also included repairs to damaged ducting in two areas of the facility. Vortex used suitable ducting from Oji Fibre’s on-site spare stock, together with newly manufactured pieces, to complete the repairs.
Vortex services and maintains equipment regardless of the original manufacturer or supplier, providing ongoing support for existing industrial air systems.

All work was completed within the one-week shutdown window, helping minimise downtime and get the equipment back into service on schedule.
