Our team are proud to support the Immune Deficiencies Foundation of New Zealand (IDFNZ) and their youth programme, The Kids Foundation. Each year we support the initiatives of this charity through donations, and we are proud to see impact IDFNZ and The Kids foundation have in Aotearoa.
IDFNZ has been helping children, teenagers, and adults in New Zealand affected by Primary Immune Deficiency (PID) disorders, as well as those who need bone marrow or liver transplants. PID is a group of rare health conditions affecting the immune system, making it harder for the body to fight infections. People with PID often face serious, long-lasting health problems and may need to go to hospital regularly for blood transfusions, or an organ transplant. These challenges can make life difficult for both the person with the condition and their family.
The Kids Foundation helps children with PID and similar conditions, by supporting children and their families with practical and emotional help. They also work to reduce the financial and social strain that comes with dealing with such a serious illness.
We believe it is so important for those suffering through PID and other serious diagnosis to get the help, community and financial aid they need, IDFNZ and The Kids Foundation provide a valuable space of support for these families and individuals. The team at Vortex Engineering are proud to partner with the initiatives of IDFNZ and The Kid Foundation!
