Hailing from Germany, Rupert embarked on his professional career after earning a degree in industrial engineering and business management.
Right from the start, he was exposed to the day-to-day challenges of developing tailor-made technical solutions. These challenges, along with the rewards of successfully mastering them, have intrigued Rupert ever since.
Working across a variety of industries has allowed him to develop a robust understanding and skill set for successfully managing challenging demands and engaging with difficult stakeholders.
Over the years, delivering engineering projects from concept to completion has provided him with insights into different industry environments, such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, food and dairy, tobacco, textiles, brush making, printing, electronics, plastics, and industrial services, including maintenance and reliability.
Before moving overseas about 15 years ago, Rupert established his own engineering business, specializing in the design and manufacture of custom equipment and machinery.
A keen musician, Rupert has always advocated for lifelong learning and development. He is passionate about sustainable improvement, both personally and professionally.
